Don't be, Russians look like their sloppy tournament self. I'll be rooting for you :handclap:.
BTW, train to Bratislava leaving in 70 minutes :). So pumped up already. :propeller

Well this should be interesting. Russia will seriously need to step up in order to beat Slovakia.

Though really after throwing Kulemin on the fourth line I say go Slovakia!

Considering the performence of the mentioned teams against Germany and Slovenia, Slovakia seems to be slightly better. But Russians... Well, you never know, what to expect.

Truth is that top-six forwards are better than him. And it doesn't change much from third and fourth line. And in any case he can't substitute Afinogenov (less scouring touch and skating) nor Artyukhin (less size and imposing presence).
So, I don't see much wrong, although he might deserve better.

The true "scandal" is the third straight start from Nabokov :help:

    Not gonna get us
    Just say
    Then only two of us
    Only lights
    Of the airdrome
    We'll run away
    (They) won't catch us
    Farther from them
    Farther from home
    The trainman-night
    Hide our shadows
    Behind the clouds
    Behind the clouds
    We won't be found
    We won't be changed
    They can't get
    The stars with their hands

    The sky will drop
    The night on (our) hands
    We won't be caught
    We won't be caught

It looks like, that Visnovsky will play.
But mostly in Powerplays. He is still not 100 % ready, but the situation is critical.

The same as me. However we has to believe. In last 15 minutes against Germany they showed a lot of character. This team never give up.

    BTW, fantastic Avatar:biglaugh:

Just for OP, is there really a valid point in those "predict who wins" polls.

I think those could be forgotten already.

    2002?
If you win I'll give you a couple of old sports icons. If we do, then you will send me a used ticket for the match. Agreed?

Interesting game because the loser of the game will head with 0 pts to the next round. If they want get to the relegation rounds theyl most likely have to beat both Finland and Czechs. Latvia can also be hard.

Though road, is the home crowd adding some preasure to these slovakian star players? Ill def watch this game!

Really refresing Wc' I have to say! :)
