Dear IIHF , thank you for no tv coverage. Great marketing of hockey around the world.

Germany could win this game, but I don't see it happening. Slovakia is just to good of a team to lose to Germany. I will still be rooting for the German's though!

I believe that Germany has a chance to win the game when they avoid the mistakes of the first period of yesterday's game and when they are in the game from the beginning.

Richard Panik is captain, Andrej Stastny and Miroslav Preisinger are alternates.

D
Janosik-Marincin
Kozak-Trska
Hrasko-Jabornik
Ceresnak

F
Hrivik-Panik-Preisinger
Majdan-Jurco-Kudrna
Jokel-Stastny-Vandas
Simcak-Bortnak-Matousek
Sisovsky

The two teams have not met in this tournament since 2007, the result was Germany 4 (Ondruschka, Schutz, Kramer, Galik) Slovakia 2 (Mikus, Korenko). The time before that was 2005 with the result Slovakia 5 (Ruzicka (3), Meszaros (2)) Germany 0.

panik is the perfect word in german for that score. 8 seconds into the period? 8 seconds? this team is full of daydreamers. :help:
