To be srs about a completely nonsense subject- Gritty really is perfect. Perfect mascot, perfect timing- with memes, irreverent humor, and the world being a mess it's almost like Philly marketing department just said "eff it, mascots are meant to be ridiculous- let's dial that up to 11 and call it good."

I'll be honest, I think of Gritty more than I think of Harvey the Hound, even though Harvey is my team's mascot.
