    The case for Hap Holmes is that he was probably the third best goalie of his time behind Benedict and Hainsworth, but doesn't get the press Benedict, Vezina and Hainsworth do because he spent most of his career in the western pro leagues where he was dominate.

    Well if the case is being made for Hap Holmes, we should also mention the guy who was beating him out for the 1st team all-star spot in the PCHA almost every year.

    Good pick. I went with Holmes because he led Lehman in Cups, 4-1, but both are excellent choices and both were better than Vezina.

    Goalies are judged by playoff performance. So, I'll vote Hap Holmes.

    I'll be voting for Lehman sooner rather than latter. (Probably go with Connell first though.)
