Get used to it. This is HFboards after all...it's all North America here, heavily biased. The standard argument is that before modern days, the greatness/skill level/whatever of players from outside NA can't be reliably compared. Therefore, only NHL players are generally considered in these polls.

Still, I wonder why it's so ****ing difficult to write thread titles like 'Greatest NHL forwards of all time'? Just put the ****ing three-letter acronym there and everybody is happy. Right now these threads are just an insult to players and fans outside North America.

Yeah, I did go a bit overboard there with the wording, apologies.

But I don't agree that this is purely a NHL site. The name is Hockey Future Boards, not NHL Hockey Future Boards. Plus there are sizeable subforums for international hockey, individual countries etc.
