So are we voting for the best losing finalist here?

Cause I wanted to vote for the 2010–11 Barca as the best team over the years you have listed but they aren't an option. (The late 80s AC Milan side would get my vote for best all time).

    In my opinion:

Juventus 1996/1997. 8W,2D,1L - 21:7. Pure domination until final. Even in the final they were better team, just unlucky.
Milan 2004/2005. In my opinion, that was best football by great Milan team during 03-07 era. Miracle of Istanbul, indeed.
Atletico 2013/2014. Crazy time for Diego Godin. He scored in Nou Camp,in CL final and vs Italy at WC. The Way that Atletico KO Milan,Barcelona and Chelsea was quite impressive. With such a ease. Damn Ramos.

I went homer as well with United 08-09. There's tons of great teams, and some I really think were the better team in the final despite losing (although United 08/09 weren't). Kinda hard to pick a clear favorite though.

But that Tevez-Rooney-Ronaldo front 3 is forever some of my favorite times.

Monaco 04 was amazing. Playing full out offense, scoring 8 goal in one game against La Coruna, beating Real Madrid Galecticos, beating new rich Chelsea, etc...
They fell flat in the final, which was too bad.

Pep's Barca that beat United the second time was the best I've seen.

Milan 92/93. Best backline of all time, Gullit, Rijkaard, Donadoni, Boban Albertini, Savicevic, and pre-car crash Lentini in the midfield, and reigning Balloon D'or winner MvB + Papin up front.

They lost in the finals but this roster is ridiculous.

Off topic, but I thought the 07/08 Man United team was better.

I went for Milan 92/93. Played 10, won 10, conceded 1 until the final, and a galaxy of stars.

Milan results in 1993 and 1994 were weird for me at the time and even in hindsight still. I thought they would have won against Marseille and lost against Barcelona.

I'm not sure that the 1994 team was better one of the two (e.g. no Baresi, no van Basten). Maybe that 93 Milan team is the best relatively (because of stricter foreign player restrictions), but some of the post-Bosman losers had better teams in the final, IMO. I always thought Milan could have improved on Rossi and Massaro (although the latter did score twice in 1994), but they did win with those two, so it's kind of a moot point.

Well OM was a great team back then.
Basically the french NT and some excellent added pieces. I don't think they were any weaker than Milan in that 93 final tbh.

Cruyff's Barca of 94 and the team that defeated them, AC Milan from 1995 (who lost to an absolutely ridiculous Ajax team, which went undefeated the whole season).
