NFL only awarded the SB to Indy, MIn, Det because they built new domed stadiums. As a bonus to recoup the funds they spend on the stadium. New York was a one time, and they got lucky as 10 inches of snow fell the next day on Monday.

They like their warm weather or climate control stadiums. Just how it is these days.
