Good tv series to watch?

Started watching Babylon 5....not a big fan from the first episode, it's pretty cheesy, but the comedy dryspell on TV means I can try out some shows I normally wouldn't watch.

B5 has a very slow start (picks up the pace with season 2). Being from the early - mid 90s, it has its cheesy moments, but the plot and character growth makes it worth the watch.

Deadwood. Greatest show of all time. If you like Westerns, great dialogue and ensemble performances it'll be up your alley. Amazingly they took over a ten year hiatus and picked up right where they left off with an amazing film.
