Karlsson’s 5-on-5 goal differential this season is -1. The next best full-time Sharks defenseman is Marc-Edouard Vlasic at -7, and that’s mostly due to Karlsson carrying him over the past two weeks.

Funny how we heard so much about plus/minus when Karlsson’s plus/minus was horrid, but now that he’s the got the best 5-on-5 plus/minus of any defenseman on the team, we’re not hearing about it at all.
Funny I was seeing the exact opposite, that Vlasic has been carrying Karlsson, who looked shaky on defense last night (e.g.). At the moment, Vlasic is a -1 the way that stat is calculated and Karlsson is -5.

Are we like good or bad though? Haha

We've gone from bad to mediocre. We're not good yet.

That's because you are a purposeful contrarian. They work together very well and contribute in their own ways. Karlsson helps move the puck out effectively thereby limiting the amount of time they spend in their defensive zone and Vlasic breaks up plays and gets the puck to Karlsson to move it out and generate offense. They work hand in hand.

Haven't been able to watch the last two games, but have Karl and Vlasic been working well together like we all thought they would when the trade happened?

Crazy idea to think he was still pissed about the no-call on Ritchie?
Could have been possible. Even if it wasn't extremely dirty, it was late and not in the context of play. Burns should just take a # and give him the Calvert treatment next time they play.
