Use it to hit extra balls from the bunkers or test yourself on different reads on the greens.

I used to hate playing solo until I started hitting 4-5 shots from the same spot in random situations.
If I'm solo, I'll play two balls at once. I've played worse ball if its slow enough (hasn't been in a while). I saw this quote from Rory who said if he can break par with worse ball he knows he's doing okay.

Had a great day on the course today hilighted by a birdie on a 523 yard par 5.
I played for the first time all year today. Front nine was somewhat passable with a 43, but fell apart on the back. The heat was absolutely disgusting and I pulled a rib muscle or something on the 8th hole. Every swing after that was a f***ing chore. Three giant blisters on my sweaty hands too. One already busted and tore a dime-sized hole in my thumb.

Golf is a delightful game.

Our closing 18th hole is 480 par 4 from the Blues. Needed par for 77 Sunday, made an all world bogey for 78. It was +38 both days and I walked, I was TIRED !!

79,78 this weekend, but f*** me sideways if they don't change the restrictions this week. I get my second shot next week and then f*** it I'm travelling.

I have followed every rule for the last 18 months, but enough is enough with the minority wrecking it for the majority.

Rant done, Tiger sucks, Phil RULES !!

77 is my career low. Did it July 27th 2008...I have the scorecard in a display...lol. So my days of posting scores in the 70's are gone....and now it's about staying in the 80's...lol. But when you only golf less than 10 times a year and are reach age 50...the mistakes come more often.

It was 32 here and we walked. We played Glen Arbour Golf Course | Beyond Expectations Nova Scotia Golf

Hardest course in our area. "Our championship course has hosted world-class tournaments including BMO Canadian Women’s Open, TELUS World Skins Game, Mike Weir Miracle Golf Drive, and the first Wayne Gretzky & Friends Tournament."

Took Monday off to play golf with a few buddies.

We have an awesome facility about 50 minutes north of Toronto that got bought by TPC a few years back. Osprey Valley. They have three courses: a parkland, wasteland and links. All are spectacular.

We teed off early so we could play two rounds. Was a complete mess on the opening nine, three doubles and finished at 44. Made some adjustments off the tee and was dialled in the rest of the day. 36 back nine for 80. Second round was even better, actually shot a personal low 71 (par 71). I put an old putter back in the bag and was making everything.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Always a treat playing there.
