I don’t know why the Houston Open is having fans. Risky for anyone playing in the Masters to be part of the test run the week before a major. Phil said as much. I suspect many top players that would’ve shown up now won’t to not jeopardize their chances to play the Masters.

Should be a good battle today between #2 and #3 in the world. Rahm and Justin Thomas are in solid form right now. With five par 5’s and only playing it at 7000 yards they are just absolutely ripping up Sherwood.

I had a horrible round yesterday. At the 18th tee I was +17. I told my caddie "If I don't hit my tee shot on the green I'm gonna drown myself in the pond". He replied "I don't think you can keep your head down long enough".

"Two college professors recently published a study that, as a by product, shows The Players Championship ... is the hardest golf tournament to win. Of the majors, The Masters is the easiest. If you include The Players as a major, it is the hardest one in recent times." The Players Is Hardest Tournament to Win.

I'm going to make wild predictions:

Rahm wins the Masters

Koepka wins the US Open for the 3rd time in 4 years (DNP this year)

Rory ends his drought at the Open Championship

JT or DJ win the PGA (as harsh as this sounds, if DJ doesn't win at least 4 majors he kinda underachieved and JT is overdue for a major win)

Surely today must be the day where the PR Open curse ends. Hovland tied for the lead, Finau one back. They are the two best golfers in the top five, as well. If it doesn't end today, will it ever end?

This tempo is so great. I don’t get tired of watching it. I also like the position through impact and the downswing is so solid. No wonder he’s such a good ball striker.

British Jesus is the man, met him at the PGA at Bethpage couple years back. Needs a win on Tour already.

I've always liked Rickie's swing and his position at the top with the flat lead arm. Club looks like it's the opposite of 'cross the line'. Compared to someone like Wolff who's way across at the top.
