OV is undoubtedly the most exciting forward in the game. But he has a bit of a problem in playoff series in that it's really not hard to predict when the puck is going to go to him and what he's going to do with it. When he's open, his line mates are going to look for him and get the puck to him, almost always. When he's got the puck, he's going to shoot it quickly, almost always.
He's so ridiculously good at shooting from almost anywhere that it manages to work an awful lot despite being predictable, but when one team can plan for him over a handful of consecutive games, it seems like they can find ways to slow him down and notice the times that they can cheat over to him or ignore his teammates because they're obviously going to him. I guess that's really the burden that any player who is head and shoulders above his team and or the league has to deal with, but it seems all the more obvious with OV than many others.
