    READ THE RULES.

And make sure you have your ROSTER & CAP INFO posted in the roster thread!

    Commissioners

    Game Schedule
    • Trade Deadline: Friday, November 30th @ 7pm
    • Standings & Playoff Voting: Saturday, December 1st
    • Entry Draft First Round: Sunday, December 2nd @ 7pm
    • Entry Draft Rounds 2-4: Sunday, December 2nd
    • Free Agency: Monday, December 3rd @ 12pm
All times EST and subject to change

    Salary Cap
    • CAPFRIENDLY IS RECOMMENDED FOR ALL CAP INFO.
    • The salary cap maximum for the 2018-2019 season is $80M.
    • The salary cap minimum for the 2018-2019 season is $59M
    • Teams may exceed the cap maximum by 10% during the offseason.
    • Teams must comply with the salary cap during the season and by the end of the game.
    • Teams may have a roster of no more than 23 players by the end of the game.

    Waivers/Buyouts

    • Post in this thread if you’d like to place a player on waivers.
    • Burying a player in the minors or Europe only eliminates a maximum of $$1.025 of their cap hit. Use the Buyout Calculator.
    • A player will be on waivers for 24 hours.
    • Waiver priority will be based on the NHL standings as of the 11/25/18
    • If a team claims a player off of waivers, they then have the lowest waiver priority.
    • Teams are permitted to use a maximum of TWO ordinary buyouts.

    Trades
    • All trades must be sent to @Joel Ward and @SJSharks39 or else they are not valid.
    • Trade submissions must include the teams involved, the first and last names of players involved, as well as, the year and original owner of draft picks changing hands, as applicable.
    • Trade submissions that do not contain all relevant information will not be valid.
    • Once a trade is agreed upon, send it in BEFORE POSTING, and then you can announce it in the thread. A deal without a NTC or NMC does not have to be approved.
    • If a trade is announced prior to it being sent in, it will be vetoed.
    • ALL MOVES MUST BE SOMEWHAT REALISTIC. The commissioners hold the power to veto any moves we deem to be ridiculous.
    • A trade involving a NTC or NMC must be sent in by BOTH GMs with a reasoning for the player(s) to waive. The trade must be approved by BOTH JW and SJSharks39 prior to posting. Keep in mind that many NTCs or NMCs will NOT be waived.
    • A proactive approach for clause waives is encouraged - if you're not sure if a player will waive for a specific team - ASK! You can likely expect a response within a day, if not sooner.
    • The commissioners will provide a 5 to 8-team no-trade list for players with an unspecified "limited NTC" upon request.
    • If a trade involving a NTC or NMC is announced before approval, it will be vetoed.
    • If a team does not have enough cap space to complete a trade that has been sent in, the trade will be vetoed.
    • Vetoed deals must be significantly altered in order for them to be accepted.
    • If a player waives his NTC or NMC, the NTC or NMC will still be valid with their new team.
    • Players retain no-trade protection after being traded unless the clause was not already active at the time of the trade.

    Free Agent Offers
    • All free agent offers must be submitted to agents in the following format: Player Name - # years, $#,###,###/year, Clause (i.e. Evander Kane - 7 years, $7,000,000/year, LNTC), or else they will not be valid.
      • This is to be fair to those who volunteer their time as agents. It is otherwise an incredibly tedious task to keep track of player offers and post them in the FA thread.
    • All RFAs will be tendered a contract unless specified by their GM.
    • Offer Sheet Calculator
    • Teams are only permitted to use their own original selections as compensation for offer sheets.

Untouchable: Johnathan Marchessault, Cody Glass, Shea Theodore, Marc-Andre Fleury
Unlikely to move: William Karlsson, Max Pacioretty, Reilly Smith, Nate Schmidt, Colin Miller
Available: Alex Tuch, Paul Stasny, Erik Haula, Cody Eakin, Nick Holden, Malcom Subban
Shopping: PE Bellemare, Daniel Carr, Oscar Lidberg, Tomas Nosek, Picks and Prospects

    - Would likely only move Tuch in a deal for a similar age/talent RHD or as part of a package for an upgrade for a 1st line F
    - Stasny could be moved for a package deal (Young NHL forward + 1st round pick + mid to good prospect)
    - Subban likely only moves as part of a package for an upgrade elsewhere
    - Have two extra 2nds and an extra 3rd in the next couple years, very open to moving any picks outside of the 1st round
    - Will likely move one of Brannstrom/Hague, but not both. All other prospects (minus Glass) available as well.

Tough start to the year, and now we're without Trocheck. May just accept our fate this year and retool for next season. I'll be fielding offers on Huberdeau, Hoffman, Dadonov and Bjugstad, as well as impending UFAs. Price won't be low and we are looking for younger players in return.

    Looking to buy.
Looking to move the following players for hockey trades or picks/prospects. I absolutely will tack on great assets to those indicated as incentive.

    Jordie Benn
    David Schlemko
Karl Alzner-Will tack on a good asset
Andrew Shaw-Will tack on a good asset
    Jonathan Drouin
    Nicolas Deslauriers
    Nikita Scherbak

Shea Weber and Carey Price are NOT untouchable but it would have to be a hell of a deal.

Unlikely to move: Nick Ritchie, Ondrej Kase, Pontus Aberg, Josh Manson, Brandon Montour
Available: Adam Henrique, Ryan Kesler, Cory Perry, Carter Rowney, Ryan Miller, Ben Street
Shopping: Jakob Silfverberg, Andrew Cogliano, Patrick Eaves, Brian Gibbons, Andrej Sustr

    - Not gonna fiddle with the D or goalies too much, Miller/Sustr could be had though
    - Looking to shake up the forward core, Silfverberg most likely to be traded
    - Looking to move at least one of Henrique/Kesler/Perry before the game finishes

Mats Zuccarelo going by tonight. Get you offers in people.

Not moving 100% but Mika Zibanjab is getting lots of interest. Would take a 1st, very good prospect, and roster player to move him.

Looking to move one of Brett Pesce, Justin Faulk or Dougie Hamilton for forward help, preferably at center.

Also seeking a long term upgrade in goal.

    :wild

Looking for a top 6 center or winger. Charlie Coyle/Nino Niederreiter as well all picks and most prospects available. May consider moving one of my defensemen, Jared Spurgeon/Matt Dumba/Jonas Brodin for the right offer.

Looking to add scoring help on the wings and at center. Chychrun can be had but won't be cheap. Fischer, Crouse, Panik, Goligoski, along with picks and prospects are also on the table. We're not a playoff team so not interested in guys who will be UFAs after this year. Also, we'll once again be a lottery team so won't be moving our 1st. We do own a 2nd and two 3rds.

I'll be around today for talks.

    - Corey Perry may move in the next few hours. The less money I take back the cheaper the price.
    - Jake Silfverberg won't be far behind, looking for a 1st or 2nd + prospect
    - Ryan Miller and Andrej Sustr will also more than likely be traded before the deadline.

No real action for the Hawks yet-keep in mind everyone is available.

Habs are looking to buy and are willing to pay but Kotkaniemi and Suzuki are 100% untouchable.

    Jesus.
Ott got hosed but I guess that’s not a bad return for rentals.

We as a group need to get over the mindset that players will only go to what we perceive as contenders and accept that players will waive for good teams whose addition of said player will make them contenders. We keep seeing the same deals.
