Roster will be up later, but I'll be looking to loosely follow in the path that the rumour mill indicates the Avs currently might be going down: a re-tool. MacKinnon is our only untouchable, but Johnson and Landeskog are essentially right up there as well. Due to them being recent signings, the chances of Beauchemin or Soderberg going anywhere are also highly unrealistic.

Iginla and Tanguay are both going to actively be shopped, but keep in mind both have NMC so top contenders only. Tanguay will go for pretty much anything, but Iginla is still a 30 goal ~60 point player, despite his other shortcomings. Others available include Cody McLeod, John Mitchell, Nick Holden, Brad Stuart, and Blake Comeau. I will listen to any ideas on these players.


I will also listen to offers on Duchene, Barrie, and Varlamov. I am not interested in picks (unless what looks to be high 1sts) or prospects several years away. I want high end prospects looking to be ready now, or other young NHL players. 'Hockey trades,' not futures. These are young (except Varlamov, 27) very good players who should command a high value. Please no low balls, I am an already stressed Avs fan

I like defensemen and that's likely where I'll focus my attention, whether that be NHL roster defenseman or promising youth.
