Myers looks worse this year than he did last year and he sucked last year too. Looks unplayable right now.

That tends to be what happens with players in decline.

Would be foolish not to think the same possibility for Edler and Hamonic as well.

edit: Or maybe the time he was spending with Virtanen in the off season was about Virtanen teaching Myers his workout regimen of poker, cyber-stalking Twitter women, and the Krutov hot dog diet.

What does Jake need to get back to being the shit disturber he was as a rookie, even if this is all he is as a player skills wise when he was an agitator he was so much more valuable

Part of that is a systems issue. Constant pressure against, odd man rushes and collapsing defense going into a tight box. The coaching sucks and this team has too many players that have no business being in the NHL.

Our offense has too much crap and the D is still a train wreck.

Even Markstrom looked vulnerable in many games last year. That happens when facing a constant barage of shots and being pushed out of a rhythm.

Sure, but those things aren't what I comment on usually. You can play the right way 100% and still lose as a goalie. But IMO he's not doing everything he should be doing to give himself the best chance to perform. You have to do those things, and do them all the time to be a true #1. Those things are independent of how well or badly the team in front of you is playing.

Laine throws years long tantrums about playing with Bryan Little, a 45-55 point 2C.

Meanwhile Horvat plays with utter dogs**t for the last 2 years and Empty Net Uncle Loui might be coming back. Not a peep.
