Next stop, quiet room for diagnosis, testing.
No penalty on the play, but DPoS may have something to say about the follow through elbow.
Your going to be very disappointed if you think Stephenson is going to be a good fit for the third line, unless you want someone who rarely scores. He had so many chances because of his speed in Washington but couldn't put the puck in the net. That's why Washington gave up on him.We finally have Glass at C, and even made what looks like a good trade to get a good LW for the line in Stephenson, and this instantly happens.
We could have put Eakin at 4C, where he could have flourished without the offensive pressure. We were very set up front.
Well, they also gave up on Burakovsky. He obviously won't be another Burakovsky, but he has 3rd line upside.Your going to be very disappointed if you think Stephenson is going to be a good fit for the third line, unless you want someone who rarely scores. They didn't give up on Burakovsky, he was moved for salary cap reasons. And you will see that Stephenson is no 3rd liner.Well, they also gave up on Burakovsky. He obviously won't be another Burakovsky, but he has 3rd line upside.

No they moved him because they have a full roster and they decided Travis Boyd was a better 13th forward to keep. So, for the same reason Stephenson was moved.
Boyd has 250k less in salary, with Stephenson Caps would have a cap space of 5850. He was a cap casuality. No they moved him because they have a full roster and they decided Travis Boyd was a better 13th forward to keep.
Burakovsky was a third liner for the Caps that couldn't afford anymore. He makes triple the salary Stephenson makes. Stephenson was giving many chances to play third line, than demoted to fourth line and was often the 13th forward and only moved back in the line-up because of injuries.

Guess he just needed to be on the second line then?
If 8 games makes a career, I agree.
6-2-2. However, we're 8-2-2 since we implemented the new defensive system. What is the VGK record since Eaks has been out? Just curious....
