Not really. I know it's impossible for some people to believe, but perhaps Giroux didn't even realize what he was doing. He didn't wipe his hand on the guy like a towel. It's not like hockey rinks are sanitary places to begin with anyway. It's full of men sweating and spitting all over the place. Linesmen break up fights with players bleeding all over the place on a semi-regular basis.

Don't worry though, I'm sure the Flyers will organize a press conference for Giroux to apologize to the hurt feelings brigade on the internet. Some of you people need to get a grip... or a life.

Edit: for the record, I don't find it funny or a troll job. It's a complete non-factor.
