Have to wonder what the price would be for Getzlaf. He's clearly still an impact player and would be a huge + for any team. 8.2M for two more years, so not a massive long term commitment. Has also said he would go if Murray said so. I take that to mean he's ready to go.

I don't know why they wouldn't entertain the idea. They appear to destined to rebuild. I have the think the return would be very significant.

If he was willing to move to try to win a cup, he’s worth a ton.
But even at two years on his contract, who could fit him?
We’d have to retain I’d assume to get enough value.
And of our three big contracts, he is the ONE I am not afraid to have.

I don't think you need to retain on Getzlaf. I think now that Carlyle is gone he will go back to playing like a first line center. He should get a premium even at his age and contract.

Perry/Kesler are totally different stories, obviously.
