One of the best posters here, Alan Ryan is going in for surgery for an enlarged prostate.

Alan is a die hard Bruins fan living in Australia for those that don't know him. I know many of times he was up halfway through the night just to catch a Bruins game on line. Not many like him for sure.

He's also the first to post quotes and articles I know I would never find without his help. Honored to call him a friend as well.

Spoke with him yesterday and seems in great spirit prior to his surgery.

Get well soon and hurry back Alan. I'll miss you until then !!!
