I don't trust the LA Kings for Samuel Fagemo development. It's the worst organization to evaluate talent at the pro level. Samuel Fagemo has been scoring at a high pace at evey level. He has 28 goals in 33 games (and 43 points). A shot like his belongs in the NHL, but when he's called up he's never playing more than 12 minutes a game. He's averaging 8 minutes a night. You dont develop a goal scorer like that. Give him PP time and 15 minutes and let him learn the hard way. He's gonna turn 24 soon, it's the perfect occasion for a team with nothing to lose to give him a chance and see what he has to offer. A bit like Gurianov with the Canadiens last year, see if it works, then let him loose, but at least give him a chance.

Any team interested in him?

Well, the Preds didn't think he really brought anything at the NHL level. Maybe there are some rebuilding teams that could give him the soft offensive minutes he might need to produce, but... they might have claimed him on waivers when they had the chance if so? :dunno:

With recent injuries & King's needing scoring, I'm sure Fagemo will be recalled shortly.
Anytime now.
Just waiting on confirmation.

Vancouver bids, like, a fifth round pick. We aren't California, so we could be preferred over an actual offer from Anaheim or San Jose.

Biggest knock on Samuel Fagemo would probably be his play in the defensive zone.

Samuel must improve his play in the defensive zone if he wants to be a player full time at the NHL level, as he hasn’t earned the trust of the coaches he’s played for at the NHL level yet.

Ironically, both Anaheim and SJ have had two opportunities to claim him for free this year and passed both times. I don't think they are interested. Watch Fagemo for any length of time and he just stands out as a one-trick pony and his overall game is just lacking at the NHL level. As someone else mentioned, the prototypical AAAA player.
