    Exactly.

Should be fun to see what Frosty can do.

Now, if our "snipers" make Bob look like his former Vezina self, I'm gonna be pretty pi$$ed.

Depends on what Frost does in LHV, how Vorobyev plays and whether Fletcher trades for a veteran center in the next month or so.
If Vorobyev plays well or Fletcher adds a center, then they'll probably let Frost marinate for a couple months unless he pulls a "Giroux," and just dominates the AHL.
If Vorobyev fades, then Frost could be back by the end of the month.

Since quality of play apparently doesn’t matter to AV or Fletcher, it’s impossible to guess.

Morgan Frost will be NHL ready again after he goes down to that Mickey Mouse Phantoms team and “works on his game” until the NHL team hits an inevitable scoring rut and/or has an injury. This is the way.

Whatever would Frost do without having a poor coach trying to build terrible habits that neuter some of his best skillsets?

I wonder if a certain someone's "friend" will keep an eye on him and let us know when he is on the 4th line again.

His passing is why I wanted him to stay, and wanted him playing with decent talent. Didn't know it was THAT great though.

I mean, the stats would indicate that he might have been the best forechecker in the NHL as well when up... just constantly recovering pucks and getting passes to team-mates once recovered them.

Like TK at first and Sanheim, they just belonged. I don't know that he's better served in the AHL at all playing with less talented players.

Greg Carey is a good AHL player and just looked lost playing with him as he was always a few steps behind.

Need to coax Kunitz out of retirement and send him to the AHL if they are keeping Frost there.

    Something something weight.
    Something something size.
    Something something defensively lackluster

What's shocking is how bad TK is, you'd think with his speed . . .

Offense was never the issue with Frost, as you point out, defense is a bit of a question.
Though some of that forecheck numbers may be taking teams by surprise: "he's that fast?"

I think it's harder for Frost to play in AV's scheme than some others where a center isn't asked to play as big a role on defense.

Thinking about a Frost - Bunnaman - NAK line, Bunnaman played solid defense at the expense of his offense, so the two might balance out. And that would be a fast line.

It is interesting that when Konecny gets to the puck he does a pretty good job with it... similar with Grant as well. But just does not get it as much.
