Reschke leaving Bayern has me pretty concerned for the direction of the club at the moment. I mean, it's hard to estimate the impact and influence he had, but I'd guess that he was pretty important. Between Hoeneß coming back, the installation of Salihamidzic (a likeable guy who identifies with the club, but has no tangible qualification whatsoever) and this move, it feels like we might head back towards being a regional stand out rather than a true European elite. Maybe I'm being a bit pessimistic right now, but I don't like what I'm seeing.
