Sullivan is the reason why they made the playoffs despite all the injuries. Don't forget he was a Adams trophy front runner for most of the season.

Nah. Much like the Bylsma Penguins, this team operates simply on talent alone. That's why we get decimated in a playoff atmosphere, because the core ain't young enough to get by like that anymore.

The team was far less dominant than you indicate

Imagine being the MVP of the Pens season and your coach decides to split up the line that made sure his stupid ass even got to coach playoff hockey (even if it was a play-in) and he can't figure out why his entire 2nd line was f***ed up after forcing a winger that was showing chemistry with Crosby, was taken off that line to be with Geno.

This season, in retrospect, is just anger fuel.
