I'm real happy Thompson seems to be okay, his head hit the canvas like a freaking basket ball when he went down. Those are always a bit scary.

I never understood some athletes complaining about brain damage. As if being body checked or slammed by guys 200-300 lbs is conducive to good brain health.

If Thompson doesn't have a title shot in his future he should get big fights for his legacy then retire and just work as an analyst when he's not at his gym.

He's such a cool guy, very nice and a true pro.
