Did you watch Linköping v Skellefteå last night? Rahimi was probably the worst player on ice. He has no place in WC.

Sure hope we get at least one of Karlsson, OEL & Edler. We've got some decent depth guys.

Does Klefbom have a chance to make your team?

Klefbom is an intresting prospect but we have better defenders in NA and over in europe so he shouldnt be close to the national squad.

Hopefully Karlsson decline always fun to see him play but he need some rest and and good offseason to be fully recoverd from his injury.

OEL should be the go to guy on the defence. I just hope they send a young squad with very few veterans.

Would be nice with Gunnarsson, OEL, Edler & Karlsson playing. Gunnarsson needs a break on Tre Kronor.

If we look at the most interesting first round matchups right now(season series):

Colorado-Chicago(4-1): Landeskog // Hjalmarsson, Oduya, Krüger, Nordström.
Anaheim-Minnesota(2-1): Lindholm, Silfverberg, Karlsson, Rakell // Brodin.
Tampa Bay-Montreal(3-1): Hedman // Pylon(Murray).
Pittsburgh-Detroit(1-1): Nobody // Half our national team.
Rangers-Philadelphia(2-2): Lundqvist, Hagelin, Strålman // Grossmann, Gustafsson.

Indeed. He was mentioned sometimes as an Olympic player. Sweden might assemble a real meat wall this time. Elias Lindholm and ZIBANEJAD WOULD BE nice depth players this time if we get the defense we hope for. Ekholm-Kronwall S are not bad either.

I think we'll see Tallinder there, he seems to like playing for the NT and MÃ¥rts likes him.

The expected were good against Switzerland(4-1). Klasen, Axelsson, Thuresson, Wennberg, those guys will fight for World Champ spots. TheFatOne's favorite Anton Hedman was pretty good too. The D wasn't tested much but thought Ahnelöv hade a good game and Ullmark made some good stops. Hersley's goal was a bomb, but I feel like he's too limited outside of that one area on the PP.
