I see Hunter is already queuing up the next goalie controversy before we've even really had the current one.

Not even close.

Guy has been completely overwhelmed in most games and is still years out at least imo. 4.21 GAA and .867 sv% is atrocious...

Boldy makes his pro debut tonight!!!
They are running a promo for tonight and tomorrow where tickets are $12 cheaper with promo code BOLDY. Building some hype around him internally too. Was wondering what number he would role with, open up here too.

Boldy scores in his first game.

I don't wanna jump the gun and say he's ready for the NHL, but it took him about three shifts to become the best forward on the team, assuming he keeps it up. He's been a part of a couple other good scoring chances or plays that should have been scoring chances if his teammates were better/made better decisions.

And it looked like the coach might have moved him to the Dewar's line, which is great, because he wasn't going to be able to do much with McClain and Duhaime.

Hoping he gets more ice time in the next two periods as well. He was used pretty sparingly for at least the first half of the first period.

Make the trip?

Boldy was moved to Dewar's line because Shaw was in the box for fighting, for context. He does look like the best player on the team after just 1 period, though. There's a huge gap between his toolbox and what everyone else brings on that team.

Wonder if he'll be killing penalties in the 2nd.

Yeah that makes sense, slipped my mind.

Boldy with the primary assist for his second point. Nice saucer pass across ice to Addison after curling just inside the blue line on a rush

He looks more comfortable every shift. He's certainly not outmatched by anyone on the ice. Making great plays along the boards, has had several nice passes that might have been goals if he was passing to NHL players. He looks especially dangerous on the PP. If he keeps playing like this, he's going to see some NHL games before the end of the season.

Army needs to figure out how to get Boldy more ice time with non fourth liners tomorrow.
