on a more serious note though, wasnt some of the dudes posting in khovanovs thread that they dont exactly list the lines in order 1st line on down its just the lineups and doesnt speak for playing time or role?

I think the KHL can do similar things, but in this case his linemates are definitely top-6 quality.

Bonino, Johansson for 3-4 picks in the top 3 rounds at the deadline.

That's 7-9 picks right there, three 1sts.

Foligno, Bjugstad maybe worth an additional 2nd/4th.

On top of the 5 picks he already has in the top 96, it should be fairly simple to do get the extra 3 picks....assuming that the Wild are out of the playoff picture and looking to deal at the TDL.

Yeah. Maybe I wrote unclearly, but it wasn't like I couldn't figure out how he could do it, I was jus thinking about him doing it; and with Brackett's initial draft seeming to be as great as it is, it's something that I am extremely intrigued and excited for.

I agree with you, but I think Guerin's nature is too competitive to go that route.

I'd be going after early 2021 picks + later 2022 picks for all of Johansson, Foligno and Bonino. Unless Bjugstad really surprises, I doubt he'd be worth anything more than a later pick.

I still do like the idea of getting a third 1st in a Dumba deal if assume one of Menell, Belpedio or Addison can fill his spot in 2021-22. I know we don't have to move him, and we probably get immediately worse by doing so, but it would give us more cap flexibility, and if he's not going to get re-signed when his current contract is up, you might as well get 2+ years of value rather than rental value.
