Seems like poor Medveščak is getting massacred in Cherepovets today :(( 1-4

And another struggling ''should play better'' team faces Donbass tonight...

I'm not sure that massacre is a right word. 4-2. Judging by the stats it looks like a normal game. Though I don't watch it.

Watching a bit of this game, and noticed that whoever fills the protocol, well, sucks at it. Not very keen of giving out clear assists.

Nice to see SKA that strong. They are dominating every game they play without investing too much.

But is that a systematic problem or more about Cada being at it again?

Neither. Of course, you already hear some crazy fans screaming for Čada's head, although he has just signed a contract extension until 2018, and Slovan management said they want to make Čada "Sir Alex Fergusson of Slovan hockey". :naughty:

I believe it's prejudice to say Čada plays an exclusively defensive style of play. Not true... Slovan had lots and lots of scoring chances both in Minsk and against Torpedo, but still got shut out 0-2 and 0-3 in those games. I hope it's just bad luck rather than anything "systemic".

As Faterson mentioned in the other post. Slovan don't have a problem with their offense in terms of creating opportunities but they need to be a lot more efficient if they want to fight for the playoffs.

I think the situation is a bit similar to Dinamo Minsk who also have at least as many big chances as their opponents but still only score 1-2 goals if they are having a good day...
