Canada seems content now and the third and forth lines are getting a lot of ice time. I don't know what the shots are but I'd guess about 40-8.

I am going to have to agree with McGuire... from ehat I've seen in this tourney, Dixon doesn't seem to have much offensive talent.
Carciola has a bit of flash to him, i like him. Janzen has been on the puck alot and has tried to get things going on the cycle but its all for not, The Canadian D is too big and mobile, the ice not quite large enough for the smaller German forwards; even then i do not think they would be able to do much with this defense. I expected better from Kink and Hospelt . Saw them in Halifax 93, Hospelt looked better then. The Germans should not feel too bad, Sweden was beaten badly as well.zecke26 said:

i think nobody feels bad in germany about it. a solid 3rd period with 2 more goals for canada would bring this game to a good end. the german team is simply not good enough for this tournament. i thought they could do better, but it isn't bad that they will relegate again. germany has a long way ahead to be as good as other nations in developing talent. sometimes a few players make it out of germany, but the junior program is simply not good enough.
btw: i saw gawlik today and he's such a midget. i always laughed when seeing him ahead of kassel's defense. and this kid was labeled as a hope for german hockey...hahaha...
