There are tons of them in nhl 11 so I thought I'd make a thread about it. Some of them are kind of funny

I'll start off with a couple

Brandon Prust - Brandon Proost
James van Riemsdyk - James Van reems-mick

It bugs me how certain team names are pluralized when they shouldn't be.

I.E. "Edmonton's is looking to tie it up"

Derek Joslin = Yoh-slin

Does anyone notice that they even use the wrong name sometimes too?

I was doing a Flames Be A GM, and at least half a dozen times per game, Backlund was getting called Boedker.

The Peg, Canada
Pacioretty = PAKOretty
Pouliot = Poulio

I've definitely heard these a few times :laugh:.

Surprised he pronounces Marty St. Louis' name correctly.

Side-note on the voice acting: I play NHL Slapshot so I'm not sure what it's like in NHL 11 but when I created my own player, my name being Ryan, I picked the name they will use for voiceovers as Ryan (referring to the last name of Bobby Ryan) expecting I would just hear Ryan all the time but every time I get a goal it's "Bobby Ryan!!!"

You'd think after doing years of these voice overs, they would have all the pronounciations (or a good chunk of them) perfected.
