Ken Sutton

1. Edmonton Oilers
2. Calgary Canucks from the AJHL
3. Claimed off waivers by New Jersey Devils from Washington Capitals
4. Traded for Pearson in 1995 and for Persson in 1996
5. Both won Eddie Shore award in the AHL

I would have never found it without the clue you gave in your last post

Wow....

I looked at the Eddie Shore Award and somehow completely skipped over the only player to play for the Devils organization, but I did click on Weinrich

Who Am I?

1. I retired a little over 13 months ago.
2. I made it to one Stanley Cup final, although I did not win the Cup.
3. My last four years I served as an assistant captain, well actually 7 with a short break.
4. I've won a gold and two silvers, each medal at different events.
5. All of the trades I was involved in saw a player who would play for the Devils go the other way.
6. Last year, I played with a player that shares the last name with a former Devils draft pick.

Additions:

7. Devils were my last NHL team.
8. I was on the ice for a goal that many Devils fans want to forget, well this one wasn't as bad as the one that would happen later.

Niclas Havelid. If anyone else wants to do the individual answers go for it. There was no way I was getting that without clue number 8.

It was hard.

But some of these require more of a combination.

The retirement 13 months ago should trigger older players, one SCF should basically make you think he wasn't on the Devils in their glory years or had a brief stint with them. Assistant captain should make you able to limit the choices. Gold and two silvers show that he was probably on a good international team. The trade clue doesn't really help much but it is easy to look up.

1. I was claimed in an expansion draft but never played for the claiming team.
2. My last season with NJ was my most successful one, thanks in part to an injury of a diminutive player.
3. In my last playing season I was teammates with a player who was drafted four picks ahead of me and another player drafted nine picks ahead of me.
4. I coached junior hockey after my retirement.

I'm always a bad gauge of if the hints are fair, so I'll leave it at that for now.

Turner Stevenson? The expansion draft clue tipped it for me.

1. Columbus claimed him, but then he was traded to us.
2. Career high in goals with 14, tied career high in points with 27. Not sure who got injured though.
3. Derian Hatcher (4) and Keith Primeau (9).
4. Assistant with the Seattle Thunderbirds.

Yup, Stevenson.

The EGG line formed sometime in mid 03-04 if I remember correctly, but Gionta got hurt and Stevenson ended up replacing him on the top line even after Gionta came back.

Who Am I?

1. I've played my NHL hockey in three states and one province.
2. Every team I have been on has won multiple Stanley Cups.
3. One of my coaches also coached my junior team, not when I was on it though.
4. In my professional career I only played in three leagues.
5. I've played in the playoffs every year since 2001-02 except for last year.
6. Although I played for a good amount of teams, I have only been traded once.

Hosa has a few answers, but I know it's not him. Stuck on that one.

Got this off a Devils site.
Of the Devils' goalies who faced more than one penalty shot, who was the only one that did not allow a goal?

Alain Chevrier
Chris Terreri
Glenn Resch
Ron Low

Who Am I?

I'm a Jackie Robinson of sorts.

Some say I started a trend/fetish that a GM has.

I've played on eight teams, but my longest run was as a Devil.

I do have "Jersey ties" of sorts and have lived on both sides of the states mason dixon line.

I have gone home.

I have two cups and won in different decades.

I didnt know Jackie Robinson was latino? but my first guess was Slava Fetisov because he broke the "Russian" player barrier and many GM's followed Lou by drafting players from Russia...but Slava didnt play for 8 teams !

Nice brain test today, my head still hurts from all the thinking !!!!

Jackie Robinson in the sense that he's the first Latino player in the NHL.

WHO AM I?

I've played on 7 different teams.

My two shortest stints are with teams that played aganist each other for cup last decade.

I attended the same high school as a former star on SNL and now movie actor.

I attended a college that has some notable players including a Miracle on Ice.

My best years were spent in the division and I formed possbile one of the best tandems of the franchise.

 This is Ken Klee isn't it?

Ducks and Devils were his shortest stints. He went to Bowling Green, where a couple Miracle on Ice guys played (Morrow and Wells).
