Still think Makar should be tried with EJ.

Just use your two best together. Cole, Graves, Z, all absolutely wilt when asked to play that high up the lineup.

Just use G or Makar there depending on who is playing best.

We only have 2 right handed dmen and to put them on the same pairing seems wrong to me.

That would make every single pairing have 1 guy playing their off side.

I didn't have much hope for this game given that guys like McDavid are built to feast on less skilled guys like we have in our roster (and in net).

Too bad we wasted Bura's best game of the season. He was by far the best player on the team. Every time he touched the puck he made something happen. I was actually getting angry when his linemates were trying to make plays rather than just passing to him.
