Looking forward to a bunch more people being on the Kevin Hayes train after actually watching him play. :baghead:

It's not how he's playing for me, it's WHEN he's playing, ie in a contract year. For all we know he ends up the next Andrew Ladd, that's why I hesitate on him.

I think Jost gets another tonight. After last games 2 goal night by him I’m hoping he can get going starting with adding another one tonight.

I thought they'd go Francouz tonight but they're sticking with Grubauer. I don't mind that.

No Bourque!

Has this been confirmed outside of the Avs twitter listing it that way?

Bednar emphatically said he was starting Francouz against NYR after last game.

That is not exactly how it was put. He was asked if hed considered it, said yup. Watch his pregame, Grub is definitely starting.

This sounds like a guy that is willing to wait 2-3 years to start competing.

Sounds like you're trying too hard to push the MacKinnon may walk as a UFA argument. He didn't say anything related to waiting 2-3 years to compete. He said they can't start playing hard after they give up goals. Basically the same thing Landy and everyone else is saying.

The major problem has been goaltending. Avs have played well in a lot of these games since Tampa. 0.899% from Grubauer isn't good enough.
