I've noticed this as well. Zadorov, Cole, Johnson, Graves. All of them seem much less physical.

I don't know if it's a coaching tactic or what, but the defensemen aren't really scaring forwards these days.

Yeah, it could be a coaching point. I understand not putting yourself out of position to make hits and it's tough to complain too much when they've played some of their best defense of the season recently. I just wouldn't mind a little bit more on the physical side, especially when the opposing team is getting very comfortable around your goalie.

It's hard to get excited when the callup is a 30 year old tweener. Giving him a shot is never going to have any real potential upside.
