The cards don't lie. Engvall is by far the worst on our team. He actually brings nothing, and I don't understand why he's always stapled in our lineup. I wish him the best, but I hope when we're healthy he never plays another game for us.

I think Keefe sent Pierre a message last night that Riley Nash is coming for his roster spot.

He had a little time to think about it before rejoining the game.

Would be interested to see Rittich against his old team right off the plane. Did he depart through a different door off the plane? Did he take the Leafs private jet? What did he eat on the plane, was there a movie? All important questions.

He looks like he has the tools, and then just disappoints.

Everytime he crosses the opponents blue line ... even with speed... he looks terrified to make a play and just fires it into the corner.

Zero awareness in the o zone.

I know you need defensive players on your 3rd and 4th line but he doesn't do enough.

He's starting to be the marincin of the forwards.

I hate to say it about jumbo but he's looked rough lately too.

The 2 of them should be out right now.

Need a way better effort tonight right from the get go.

If Rittich is in tonight I feel like he'll have a big game seeing as right away he plays his old team.

I think he went on covid protocol last Wednesday so I figure Thursday against the Jets he should be back.

As for Foligno I'm pretty sure somewhere I saw the 21st of April against the Jets is the earliest he could be put in after the quarantine.

Time to play those depth options and rest some other players.

I'm hoping Liljegren gets in tonight. Heck maybe even Sandin. When Nylander and Foligno are eligible to play, I'm hoping Robertson keeps playing but some vets take a seat for rest. We have a lot of games to finish the season.

Yeah Jumbo as well. I at least have some hope for him in the playoffs though. You never know with these old guys. He could find a little extra motivation come playoff time and be better than he is now.

Nash won't be playing until the playoffs but for now, I feel it is Foligno that will be taking his roster spot.

Yeah Jumbo as well. I at least have some hope for him in the playoffs though. You never know with these old guys. He could find a little extra motivation come playoff time and be better than he is now.

And from reading about Riley Nash, the fans of his teams say that he is much better in the playoffs. So yeah, the playoffs could have that effect on certain players, they need to rest him every second game, this crazy schedule is tough enough on the young guys.

He'll be back on Thursday but that should not be an excuse for this team. Without Matthews, this same team shutout McDrai's team twice and out scored them 7-0 in those 2 games.

I seriously hope Thornton is scratched tonight. He is killing any line he’s on and making brutal mistakes to boot.
