Full 1st floor reno this summer.... so photos will wait until it's pretty but in terms of hardware I got a 65" LG c9 OLED TV that I'm in love with.

Going up on the wall over a mantle/fireplace. Audio suggestions welcome.

Currently:

65” Sony x850d
Sony 1800es receiver
5.1 setup with Boston acoustic floor standing speakers.
Watching with msg app on an iPad air playing to my appletv
Control4 remote.

my couch is probably too close for a bigger tv. And I can’t do a 7.1 system, do to the configuration of my room at the moment. (but that’s will change in the future)

the Sony receiver will be replaced with an anthem receiver next week. (My setup changes based on what gear I get free from work) I’m looking forward to the built in room correction software.

When you run fire stick TV, you can’t be picky about picture quality (at least with my service) .. tons of available channels and such but picture quality on many is choppy. I’m usually 4 gameplay minutes behind regular feeds. It’s a trade off.

I do love my subwoofer. Wife most definitely doesn’t .

Um, bro, I don’t know how to tell you this, so I’m just gonna say it.

Your house is crooked.

An ottoman for several uses? I’m not sure I want to know what that entails

I’ll just assume it’s where you burn an effigy of Bailey every gameday

Watch in my home theatre setup; a 75” Samsung HDR LCD, Yamaha RX-A1070 receiver, 5.1 PSB Image speakers and sub and an Apple 4K TV.

Or on my iPad in bed. ;)
