Lyrics:

Magic surrounds us, don't you see?
This love is destined to be; this love is destined to be.
Here's to us, here's to us, here's to all we have in store,
Here's to you, here's to me, you made my life worth living for.
From Max and Rantta to our Oliver,
Here's to all the years ahead, and to our Coyotes!

When I was a little girl, I used to fantasize,
Frozen ice and hockey sticks, mascara on my big, blue eyes.
Life was perfect in that world, pretty as you please.
Now I see, dreams are dreams, here's to real life fantasies!

When I was a little boy, my dreams were bright and bold,
Hockey sticks and chasing pucks, reaching out to grab a goal.
Then I was a teenaged guy, my soul it ever died,
Can't give up, can't give in, life can still be worth the ride.

Here's to all the years ahead, and to our Coyotes!
Memories are little more than moments in the stream,
Live the moment while you can and thank Bettman you had your dream.
Moments and their memories are all that life leads to.
Live them, laugh them off, and start your life anew.

Here's to us, here's to us, here's to all we have in store,
Here's to you, here's to me, you made my life worth living for.
From Max and Rantta, to our Oliver,
Here's to all the years ahead, and to our Coyotes!
Here's to hockey, and such things,
How we hate the stupid Kings!
To the sport that never dies, and to our Coyotes!

Hockey gods.

Please have the Coyotes finish as the 3rd worst team in the NHL for the 2017-2018 season.

It is absolutely ridiculous the NHL includes even this last game in their proxy for finding which teams needs the best players the most. So many teams are tanking hard. If they had ignored the last 20 games in the internal ranking for the teams not making the play-offs, the tanking would not have been there. We would have seen teams just playing for their honor, as they should. A somewhat randomized cut-off to hamper planning, with a small, extra lottery a day or two before the trade deadline, so everybody of the no-playoff teams knows what odds they are trading with.

So, no bad news on ownership for you yet? No news is good news.

Worst case isn't this is the last game of a season ending on a high note. Worst case is this is the last game. But I guess you know that.

This season was over fast. Fill the arena. Win the last game. Beat the Ducks.

And win the lottery. Let the tankers whine. Let the tankers complain about them being unfairly treated.

That would make me happy.

About the horrible bus-crash in Canada. There will perhaps be something special about it in in all games today?

What a bad thing.

Sad day gents. This season flew by. I remember like yesterday when we got floored by Vegas in the first period of their home opener.
I'm thrilled not to have a terrible taste in my mouth at the finish like I had at the beginning of the season. As an aside, thanks for the occasional "insights" that you post.

Better days ahead. Any new info on the owner front?

Ducks win and they could be the 5th seed. A loss could drop them to 7th. Motivated to win or just want to stay healthy?

I'll be at this one too. One last time this season, Yotes... nothing to save it for! Bring the best effort you got and send the fans home proud and hopeful for next season! Send a message to the NHL to be on lookout next season.

Or so I hope, haha.

Hanley could be in for KConn tonight. If that's the case, then:

OEL - Schenn
Murphy - Goligoski
Hanley - Mermis

Injured: Hjalmarsson, Demers, Chychrun, Connauton

Can we catch Detroit? If we win and they lose in regulation, we have the same record. Same ROW I think. So that makes it come down to head to head no? And they swept us this year.

They currently have a better GD, which is larger enough it should stand after today's games.

I suspect both teams lose, as well as the Canadiens. In that scenario the standings would stay the same. However, if the Coyotes are the only club to lose in OT, they end up in a tie with Montreal and HAbs move to 29th, due to GD. If all three clubs lose in OT, the standings stay the same for Coyotes and Habs. RW's would then duel with Canucks.

If we lose in regulation there is a 100% chance we finish 29th. A win gives us best odds of 28th, although 27-29 still possible.

We might as well win cause we certainly ain't winning a lottery.

Although with that defense I think this is mostly academic. I think the injuries there are basically the reason this team hasn't had the puck much the last 2-3 games.
