Even if we lose these two games i doubt any of the other crap teams behind us catches us

Then again if we win we might pass more teams for a worse pick

So lose please

9-0 Preds

Gotta think bigger...

10-9 Preds, with a hat trick for Petey, Brock and Bo. ;)

Really though, some points or positive play from a player who isn't junk/not on the team next year would be nice.

Id be down with that as long as Hughes gets in on it too. Schenner as well

9 goals for Granlund, all empty netters, assisted by Schaller with Loui picking up the 2nd assists.
Id like to see some Beagle and Spooner points mixed in there

Massive battle at the top of the central. All teams 80 GP

Jets 96 pts
Preds 96 pts
Blues 95 pts

Jets hold the ROW tie breaker and can't lose that tie breaker no matter what happens. Preds and Blues have the same ROWs.

However, it means the Preds and Blues likely have a lot to actually play for these final games. Better matchup, home ice etc.

Fun "fact": if in the east, every western conference team other than the Flames and at this point the Sharks, would be fighting for their playoff lives or already out. Wildcard in the east is currently at 94 points. Colordo, Vegas, Stars would be on the outside looking in right now and central team would be clinging to a spot.

I remember when the East was the weak sister. What the hell happened to the rest of the West? Just the usual age catching up to better teams?

West is fine.
5 of the 6 worst teams in the league are in the East boosting the point totals of the top half of the conference skewing the actual ranks.
I would still favor Vegas in a series over any of the 4th to 8th seeded East teams.

West had goaltending and good defence. For what ever reason.

New rules makes playing defence really hard so East with their easier travel schedules is just the place to be.

Marky starts

Who comes out for Brogo and Virts? Probably Biega and Schaller?

Please just lose in regulation. Would be nice to see Petey/Brock/Horvat score with each other assisting on them too. 4-3 or 5-4 would be nice.

That's because, in part, the bottom teams in the east are absolutely terrible. They fill in 5 of the 6 spots for worst in the league. Only LA in the west is "competitive".

That might be. And also why I had "fact" in quotes because of course the western teams aren't in the east so you don't reall yknow what would happen. But let's not pretend the teams in the west are strong because they aren't. The likes of the Kings, Ducks, Canucks etc shouldn't be hard game for anyone either.
