A dreaded weekend of afternoon games without the Super Bowl in sight.

The first is against the Champ St-Louis Blues. The Habs beat them 6-3 at home last Saturday. Difficult not to think that the Champs will want that game back and seek revenge.

However, the Habs will be going into the game with a couple of motivated players riding on a tsunami of emotions after further to having scored their first NHL goals on the same night last Thursday:

And here they are, your 1st and 2nd star of the game:

Maybe either or both will strike again in this game. Or maybe, this other guy who might just creep out and do what he does best -- put up more points. He's entering the game with a 4-point game streak (2G, 2A).

Just look at his metamorphosis.

Some people genuinely look like they have a few screws loose, and that gene clearly runs in the Domi family. But good god, that haircut doesn't help.

Oh hey, it's a 3pm game. Looks like I won't need to stay up in the middle of the night for once.

Love the Joker theme btw.
You're what like 6 hours ahead? That 3 PM is still a 9 o'clock start.

Why don't you just record the games and watch them at a decent hour. It's not like Finns are rabid Hab fans and constantly talking Habs' scores. I'm guessing the news shows don't report NHL scores every half hour on radio and TV.

We're 7 hours ahead so 10pm start here. I don't watch every game obviously and sometimes I do watch them the next day but it doesn't feel the same as watching it in real time, plus the GDTs here are always fun.

As for trying to avoid knowing the score, it's impossible for me haha. I constantly want to know how my Habs are doing. I also have a few hockey nerd friends who are quick to remind me whenever the Habs lose lol.

It's going to be tough week-end since we faced 2 teams on the road that we just beat in the last week so their lost is fresh in their memory.
Back to back and afternoon games to make it even tougher.

Would be happy with 2 points out of this weekend.

Maybe either or both will strike again in this game. Or maybe, this other guy who has been unusually quiet lately, might just creep out of the shadows.

Just look at his metamorphosis.

My strategy for goalies would be this-
Play Kinkaid today in a game that will be tough to win and play Price in a game we should win in Minnesota.
