He absolutely is not. Ruhwedel is horrible. He has limited offensive ability, he gets bullied in the defensive zone, he isn't particularly good at defending against the rush, and he's small.

He is not more solid than Oleksiak and he has about 1/100th the potential.

He's much more solid. Not even a question. Did you miss the 2017 playoffs? Ruh was solid when we needed him. Oleksiak could never do that in the playoffs because he is just too hockey dumb.

And stop with this potential thing. He's 25? He is what he is. A #7 Dman who can't play Defense. He's waiver fodder.

If he doesn't give that one up to McDavid and has B grade rebound control but doesn't make all those great saves, the Oilers probably have 5.
