Excellent on your part to point that one out. A memorable game in different ways, from Kevin Stevens being knocked out cold to Tom Barrasso's foibles to the Pens scoring twice late in the third to tie it.

Probably the most famous game 7 OT of all time was NYI @ Wash during the 1987 playoffs.

I'd beleive the most famous OT goal is from Lemieux, for the sole reason that the Habs won the cup thereafter...

Add David Volek in 92-93, if it isn't been done already.

In 1993, the Penguins nearly pulled off the exact reverse of what the Isles did to them in 1982. Down 3-1 late in an elimination game. Score twice, win in OT.

Thank God for Volek
