I actually thought Ritchie did fine given that he had different linemates throughout the night and this was his first game with a new team. He was trying to finish his checks. He made a nice hit on Looch that inspired the team for a few mins before they went lifeless again. He made a damn nice pass from behind the net that could have resulted in a goal easily. Made a couple other nice attempts to set guys up in close but they weren't expecting it since the gameplan was apparently to shoot endless lazy wristers from distance. He did pretty well all things considered.

Right, he flew across the country and didn’t get in until late last night. Had one morning skate with his new team and then played ok. But already posters saying he is out of shape and not good. There are some here who won’t even give him a chance. How you can say he’s out of shape after one viewing is laughable.
This fan base can be absolutely brutal at times. Basically you have to walk on the team, score 3 goals without having any time to create chemistry with your linemate or you’re dog shit.

Krejci isn’t a defensemen I don’t expect him to make that play there. Bruce’s decision to put him and one of our weaker defenseman back there backfired.

It’s way to early to put any judgement on Ritchie. He needs to play more with his line mates before we do that.

4th line looked great. that trio has to be the odds on favorite to start the playoffs
at this rate. lindholm is a scrappy little pain in the ass, really nice 12-13-14 guy.
get kase in there on thursday and let's see how that looks. lots of guys were
invisible tonight.

After the Bruins lost to the Habs in Nov. ending their blistering start, they laid an egg in Detroit and then played around .500 for next 10 games or so.

Looks like they are on the verge of doing it again.

The main thing is to start the playoffs healthy and have Rask on his “A” game.

This game wasn't a good example of what the Bruins can do but it stinks to see the 4th line be our best line by far. That is never a good thing.

Interestingly, the Bruins with 1 PP total in two games against Calgary.

Ritchie had a good first game. I do wish he found a fight but outside of Lucic I don't think anyone would have and Lucic should be left sleeping.

The Kuhlman criticism is somewhat valid but it is the coaches putting him in a role he cannot succeed in. He is skating hard and playing his best at least. This team has a lot of bottom six type players unfortunately.

Not enough effort tonight from really anyone other than the 4th line. Ritchie looks like his brother except he handles the puck like a hot potato. Not a fan.

Could have used Heinens stick/puck winning abilities tonight.
