Awhile ago my sis and I decided to sell this game because there were 3 in the same week. Hopefully (Ladyfan knocks on wood) this will be the last game I will miss this season.

My first day back at work. My surgeon said keep it to 8 hours or less...so it was 11...ugg. So many emails.

I wish there were some good news on Charlie.

Glad you are doing well! Today was my first day back to work after my surgery and I definitely recommend doing a half day if you can. I started to feel exhausted and light-headed around 1 and the day dragged on from there.

BUT I'll be at the game tmr night, my health be damned!!

Edit: Read your post wrong, looks like you had a hard day as well.

I miss Bergy. Watching the guys push him around in that chair today was sad.

I can't stand Detroit. Especially Abdelkader. Watch the stickwork!!

I read where Carlo said he was going to talk to Chara on the ice so he wouldn't yell at him on the bench.

And can we please score the first goal? Just to be different...

I'm really, really glad that they're not playing a heavy, heavy team right now....

This is one of those sneaky finesse teams that can frustrate the hell out of the B's. Hopefully Charlie gets a good report tomorrow! Outside of Bergeron, I can't imagine the team losing someone more important right now

Cant wait too see how it all plays out with out Charlie.

It'll be interesting to see who steps up. Carlo and Holden, I think both will big time and I feel Quaider will have one hell of a game as well.

Go Bruins!:bruins

Ken Daneyko had some good points on NHL Tonight earlier, after a handful of non-playoff teams beat teams that are playoff-bound (cough cough Toronto). In addition to being loose, these non-playoff teams have players and coaches whose jobs next year are on the line.

So this is not a game to take lightly.

They squeaked out the 2 points against Montreal, but it was a tedious, tiring game to watch.

And yes, scoring the first goal will help in alleviating that.

Games vs teams like this concern me. The B`s, at times have found a way to be dragged down to the level of lesser skilled teams so really hoping they aren`t skating into this one anticipating an easy evening and guaranteed 2 pts. Detroit loose, many are likely playing for jobs next year, have to start on time boys

It is good to get back to work but that is too many hours! I'm 7 weeks in and we did inventory for two days...the pain returned quite a bit. Take it as easy as you can! I telll myself the world won't end if I don't get everything done!

News on Charlie today would be good. I am so glad the B's have a nice cushion in the division and winning the last 3 without Bergy is a huge bonus.

GO BRUINS!!!

from Chad Finn in today's Globe:

AJ Mleczko will lend her expertise to Tuesday’s Bruins broadcast - The Boston Globe

AJ Mleczko is one of the cornerstones on which the United States women’s hockey program was built. The Nantucket native and Harvard grad, who now lives in Concord with her husband and four children, was a stalwart forward on the 1998 gold medal team in the Nagano, Japan, winter games, as well as the ’02 team that took silver in Salt Lake City.

In her post-playing days, she’s proving as adept at analyzing the sport as she was at playing it. And her bosses have noticed.

Mleczko, whose insight was on display as NBC’s women’s hockey analyst at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, will serve as the color analyst Tuesday night on NBC Sports Network’s coverage of the Bruins-Red Wings matchup. She will work with play-by-play voice Chris Cuthbert and rinkside reporter Brian Boucher.

“It’s nice to be able to talk hockey,’’ she said. “Women’s hockey, men’s hockey, it’s all the same.”
