Having been a fan since the very beginning, I can honestly say that this is the first time that I've had zero excitement for the season to start. I suppose I'm just rather jaded by the promises of next season, after next season, after next season. I have nothing against Tortorella but I'm apathetic about his ability to make winners out of this team. And right on time, allow a goal at the end of the period. I've stuck with the Blue Jackets through all the sucky years but my interest is just not there anymore.

Yup, right there with you . Tired of being the slower , less skilled forward group almost every game . Torts should have never been given a 2 yr extension , after he torpedoed the playoffs , with his 2 line approach

I have no logical explanation, but this roster feels "wrong" for some reason. The roster is a weird hybrid of skill and work but neither is a strength. We won't beat anyone on skill alone, but don't have the personnel for a physical game, either. Still old CBJ "don't know what you're going to get" game we've played all these years
