I'm eager to see who is in net!

Gaudette is interesting too.

I hope the Canucks don't try to make this a statement game. They can't prove team toughness with this roster.

30 years ago, Mario Lemieux scored 15 goals, 31 points in his first 8 games of the 1988-89 NHL season with Pittsburgh. Over the course of a full 80-game season, this pace would have averaged out to be 150 goals, 310 points in a season. Indeed, that was a pretty hot start for Super Mario.

Nilsson starts again. Green riding the hot hand.

Gaudette getting a big opportunity stepping directly into Pettersson’s spot in the lineup. Here’s hoping he can do something with it.

Biggest hope for this game is that the top like continues rounding into form. They’ve been getting better with each game thus far.

Looks like a beer league ringer... but 0 GW goals, so probably just a loser who runs up the score when it doesn't count :sarcasm:

It will be interesting to see how the team responds after losing their best PP player, and their best PK player...I was impressed with how the team played in sweeping the Florida teams (which would have been a laughable scenario a few weeks ago).

Canucks did beat the Pens last year in Pittsburgh, and that was with a red hot Brock Boeser...Wont be easy.
