Nick Holden joins Bruins for practice in Toronto - The Boston Globe

TORONTO — Newly acquired defenseman Nick Holden participated in his first workout with the Bruins here Friday morning, some 72 hours after he was acquired in trade with the New York Rangers.

Holden, 30, was assigned No. 44, last worn by Rob O’Gara, the ex-Bruins prospect who was dealt to the Rangers, along with a third-round draft pick, on Tuesday. The 6-foot-4-inch left-shot defenseman is not expected to make his Boston debut Saturday night when the Bruins face the Maple Leafs at Air Canada Centre.

Dart guy is a beauty.

Also that guy with the Vader outfit, now that is dedication and a few $$$.

I wonder if Holden is going to play, lets see them put up close to 50 shots.

Can't wait, this is the new rivalry in the Atlantic (for now) with the Habs being such garbage.

I can’t watch this one live ( will watch later ) . Bruins are rested so they will be ready . This one won’t be a cakewalk like last game but hoping the Bruins can find a way . Enjoy the game !

Will be there with my wife tomorrow night. I think I have to go sans jersey as the last time we went, she and her drunken brother and my Habs buddy all got in to the Loose Moose after the game. I got barred. I think the Lucic jersey pissed the bouncer off.

I wonder if Holden will be elsewhere come Feb.27?

Yeah that said.. This is almost like a playoff game in a way.

Leafs are banking on the Bruins losing a lot of games down the stretch because of their schedule which makes sense. any points for the Bruins and not for them will obviously help tremendously.
