Got what we deserved in last 5 mins. Basically chased Tampa around for 5 minutes with no interest in driving play. When we got the puck all we would do is dump it back to change.

The goal they scored was pitiful attempt to win puck battles

I just don't understand any of the coaching decisions in the last 5 minutes either. Why did we change up the lines? Why did we put Suter with Heiskanen all of a sudden? What are we sitting back for when we suck in OT?

Important lesson in playoff hockey there. No doubt will be in playoff games like that, with opposing teams driving late in games. Hope they take some experiences from that one then.

Also, the timing of this not the worst. We clearly need another top 6 fwd. Hopefully jolts Nill enough to do it...Power Play needs another playmaker.

Yeah, forget about getting D at the deadline, our overall team defense is more than fine at 2nd best in the league. It's the forwards that always fail to capitalize in these low scoring games against teams with a good goalie.

They just can't move the puck well enough or shoot it accurately enough to get the win more often than the loss.

Agreed. A couple of months ago, I thought the need was defense, but Mill, Hakanpaa, and Lundkvist have all stepped up their games.

These games suck. What was a strong game by the Stars ended up getting ruined in the final few minutes with nothing to show for. Frustrating
