Reading between the lines, Louie upset w/ playing time? We already know Tippet doesn't like him.

Tippett always rides his starters. Doesn't matter what quality the starter or back up is (see: Smith/Dubnyk splits). Domingue isn't the first to get buried behind Tip's bff. This was completely predictable. The people talking about a time share in the off season were on another planet. Domingue is in the doghouse, and he's never going to climb out playing once a month. This is Tippett. It's his MO.
I say this as someone who expressed skepticism about Domingue in the offseason. I'm not a huge Domingue homer. I just think this should have been handled differently.
