Some come to the game drunk and looking for trouble. They keep serving these fools two at a time.

I feel bad for the security guards. I also feel bad for the fans (especially with kids) who spent big $$ to come to a game and have to put up with some jackass.

You always hear swearing at sporting events. It has always been this way BUT when it gets out of hand they need to toss out the offenders. It can really ruin the game for most.

I loved when they added an emergency room Doctor to all games (because of Rich Peverley) . The doctor and his guest sit right behind us. There are no drunks spilling beer on us anymore.

As some here remember I was involved in an altercation a couple of yeas ago with a jackass who was drunk. It was the only time in my life I have ever hit someone.

This is why I gave up my seasons years ago and rarely go even when given free tickets. My temper and fuse is to short to deal with drunk people at a hockey game. Especially when I have my Wife or two daughters with me . Something that should be a memory turn into one alright

lol I’ve always felt that sitting for a Bruins game in someone else’s barn ramps up my anxiety. Regardless of the stakes. Hell, i attended a weekend Devils game a few years back when Jersey was even more dreadful than they are now, and my stomach was tied up all night.

glad you guys enjoyed it, and were able to scoot out of there with relative ease!

Went to the last Caps/Bruins game in Washington. Had zero issues ,in fact it was a fun night talking with Cap fans in enemy territory.

Been around a ton of hockey people over the years at every level and one thing is constant. Great people!

It's the idiots that have no manners and when you mix booze with an idiot you have a chance for a confrontation.

Sooo, uhhh, can we keep this line up next game?
Was thinking about this as well. Is the 3rd unit better without Heinen on it? If so where do you put him, besides the trade block?

I do believe Kuraly will be the best option for 4C, once he kicks whatever slump he’s been in all season. Hopefully he wakes up come postseason.

Is Lauzon a better option than Moore or a healthy Cliffy? So far I’d say so, it’s a very small sample size but he’s showing to be more reliable than both of them in his last few.

I like what Blidh brings to the lineup, finishes every hit, no fly-bys, plays hard. It’s rubbing off on others, especially his linemates. I think he’s a keeper unless he starts taking too many stupid penalties or has defensive lapses.

Good to see the kids come in and make an immediate impact.

Donato being a healthy scratch on that team is something else.

Going to go out on a limb and say the Bruins won that trade pretty handily.
Still to early to call, Boudreau will be fired here shortly and the next coach will be the make or break for Donato.

That's the biggest reason I rarely attend sporting events and/or live concerts

I just can't stomach drunks anymore

I’ve never been a big fan of Kuraly. Don’t get me wrong he brings good energy but it seems like almost every play dies on his stick. Reminds me of a kid I used to play high school hockey with. Could skate like the wind but did absolutely nothing when on the ice. kuraly can be good every once in a while but I think I’d honestly have either par at center or move Wagner to center and have Blidh play on the wing.

Back at hotel. Daughter and I throughly enjoyed the game until the end when an idiot drunk wild fan started swearing at bruins fans. One guy had 2 small children with him. He told the guy to shut up or he would shut him up. Security came and he was escorted out. I never get getting plastered at a game. How is that fun
For some people sports is just another excuse to drink, they don't really care about the game itself.

The B's newfound physicality combined with their lethal PP being back on track is glorious. If teams take liberties, there is now some pushback. And if they take penalties, the game could be over.

The execution on the PP the last two nights has been with surgical precision.
Having a strong PK and PP is a recipe for success a lot of times.

I know a lot of people will disagree with me and certainly the owners would never do it, but I support no alcohol being served at games, after all there are lots of kids there and they don't need to see that stuff.

Hell baby
I was wondering about this...was thinking “how could he come in, scoring in bunches, the town absolutely giddy about him...and in a few months of season, he’s a scratch and ‘bust’?”

I mean, ****, you gotta be really bad defensively. Non-functional. ...I guess I could see that with him.

The Bruins tolerated Joe Morrow for his offensive upside, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone weaker on the puck. He was helpless.

I know they’re running out of things to play for, but outside of Dumba I wouldn’t want one guy from the Wild roster
What about Eric Staal as a winger for DK ? Has he ever played wing ?
Big guy, has 17 goals this year, can play center if there is an injury.
Contract is only for 2 years and 3.5 mill per year cap hit i think.

swear at your ****ty team guy instead of innocent people who paid to be there, sheesh

It’s not like the bruins fans made your team quit on the ice
No need to swear at all. The F word has become so common place now. I work at a university, and all the kids use the
F word in most of their sentences. Someday soon, I expect to hear it from someone we are interviewing for a job.

Been discussed several times....he has said repeatedly will not waive for anywhere. Maybe this year because they suck, but highly doubtful

Thousands of people drink without issue. I'm usually alcohol free, but sometimes I may have a beer or a glass of wine. Being that is my limit, and I'm never out of control, I'd prefer that option in the future. I've never been a fan of a policy which punishes the people who do not break the rules just to curb the few who do. I'm doubly against any policy which is justified by the emotive statement "What about the children??!!" You are taking those children to an event where grown men punch each other in the face for sport, yet people are clutching their pearls over fans drinking?

Really like Kuraly but he has not played well and the fourth line looks good with the addition of Blidh killing penalties

We are pretty lucky with our seat location. The head of security is often right in the tunnel. They watch the fans near the bench. Sometimes we see a bunch of them come near the bench because they are watching a fan who is being an idiot.

If someone is misbehaving they are told to stop . The guards warn fans who are swearing too loud . They get on fans who pound on the glass (especially since a pane fell on David Krejci a few years ago).

There is a guard right next to us for most of the game. right now it is an Irish guy named Peter and he is a good guy. He never watched hockey in Ireland but loves it now. We have had some great guys that guard the bench (and us).

I have been to a bunch of B's away games and never had any real issue. We have been teased but mostly in fun.
