No goalie with 4 minutes left...... this will be fun/
4 minutes of 6 on 5 ineptness.
lol they almost screwed it up right off
Keep the streak of ineptness alive!
Ironically.... we don't lose any ground on the wild card spot.
Next up is Columbus, they are currently in a 3-3 tie with Colorado riding a 5 game losing streak.
Then Dallas again.
TBH we probably need both of those.
We are so bad at gaining the offensive zone. No matter the man advantage, we just plain suck at gaining the opposing blueline. It’s very frustrating to watch.
We are also still the only team in single digit home wins with 2 home games coming up.
Let's hope Panarin and Bob are traded tomorrow.
For a losing streak, it doesn't look so bad.
Not the Ducks.
We're rarely the worst. Very good at being among the worst.
Thankfully it looks like this could be the last season of it.
Columbus looks like they are about to end their losing streak. Not sure if that's good or bad.
Well... just waiting to see who got injured after last night's game now??
On to the game though, missed most but saw the last period. Team seemed a bit gassed and just needed to convert on the PP chances they did have. Hard to win when you don't take advantage of the hard earned advantages you gain. But they aren't playing horribly despite the streak.
Nashville is just a better team. Their D is worlds better at puck movement then our crippled blue line. No shame is this loss, we aren't in their league.
Nashville is a tightly built team, Poile is an elite GM.
The loss on the back-end of a road back-to-back against a Cup contender with the 4th string waiver wire goalie and 8 players on IR is 100% forgivable. The problem is the team is running out of season, they have no option but to win some games like this if they want to make the playoffs.
They just got better today acquiring Boyle and McLeod.
